List Appending

List appending is like taking inventory before you begin the bulk of your marketing journey.  If you already know what you have on hand, you may be able to save some real marketing dollars or redirect them on specific “high-value” activities, beyond what you may have initially expected. Rumbline’s List Appending helps companies better leverage existing information. By utilizing “in-house” information and data, companies realize real results with the least amount of investment. Contact records are only as good as their information source. Rumbline’s list appending process updates client contact lists with recently available client information. The most common type of List Appending is Email Appending. Through the email append process Rumbline augments the client contact records with missing or updated email addresses for their customer. By applying their customer contact records to available contact database universes, we are able to identify specific contact information for their clients, and then specifically request permission from that contact to communicate with them over email.  This same process is also used for appending other contact fields such as phone number, physical address, etc.

Permission pass is a requirement for all email appending programs. Typically fifteen percent of the total researched list is discovered after permission is requested. The permission pass does reduce the total number of appended records, but is necessary to keep the records deliverable and CAN SPAM compliant. Rumbline only delivers appended email to our clients with permission granted by the appended contact. Permission pass is a requirement for all email appending programs.

Email appending is charged for based on the number of discovered records with permission granted. Our clients only pay for appended, permission granted records, not the entire researched list.
